Took the ferry to Peak Island, visited the Fifth Maine Regiment Museum, enjoyed wired internet and free parking. Cape Elizabeth was just 2.8 miles away. There were computer facilities and a cozy library.

The location is jaw-dropping with an awesome rocky shore and the sound of the surf all night. The common area by the fireplace was super cozy, and the full shared kitchen was perfect for preparing meals. The staff, especially Dawn, went above and beyond to make our stay mind-blowing. The decks overlooking the water were beautiful, and the family room was clean and comfy. The value and location make it a great choice for a race or family trip.

That there weren't any late-night parties or DJ sets. We were in the mood to dance all night long, but sadly, there wasn't much of a party scene.

Everything was fantastic at this classic hotel. The location was amazing and beautiful, just a pleasant stroll away from Peaks Island. Moreover, it's next to Portland, Maine and the local grocery store. The staff was attentive and the host too.

Our kids were in awe of the civil war artifacts and loved reading the correspondence from that era. The second story deck provided a picturesque view of the sunset over the water, giving us a perfect spot for quality family time. It was a truly unique experience that we won't forget.

My wife says that having shared bathrooms was a bit inconvenient for families with young children.

As a tourist, I loved the historic charm and informative staff at the 8th Maine Regiment. The basic accommodations added to the overall experience. The location was unbeatable with opportunities for relaxation and outdoor activities.
