Amazing views from the lodge and a great shared kitchen to prepare meals. The shower in the ladies' bathroom was a bit cramped.

We had an amazing time with friends. The lodge offers breathtaking views and a friendly atmosphere. We loved exploring nearby beaches and hiking trails. The shared kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals together. A bonus was the claw foot tub in the ladies' bathroom! Definitely a place to relax and connect with friends.
The shower in the ladies' bathroom was a bit cramped, but it didn't spoil our fun.

We loved the rustic charm of our room with a stunning water view! The back porch was perfect for sipping coffee while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Our teenagers even enjoyed playing board games and exploring the unique Civil War artifacts on display.
My kids wished for more bathrooms for easier access during busy mornings.

The Deluxe Ocean View Room offers stunning vistas, making every morning a treat. A fully stocked shared kitchen allows for easy meal prep, while the outdoor shower provides a unique twist with hot water and high pressure.
The shared bathroom facilities, particularly the cramped shower and toilet stalls, can be a tight squeeze for some. Noise from the hallway might be bothersome to those sensitive to sound, but earplugs can save the day. Plus, the door rattles with the wind, though a hand towel can solve that little nuisance.

More accessible seating options on the porch would help.

The Victorian charm and breathtaking ocean views distinguish this unique getaway. Antique furnishings and vintage quilts create an inviting atmosphere, while communal spaces encourage interaction with fellow travelers. While shared bathroom arrangements were a bit awkward for some, the experience of living in such historical surroundings was refreshing. The famous local salads at the nearby market complement the serene ambiance perfectly.
